I'm Maulik Vora, Founder and CEO of Zluck Solutions. I work with businesses and entrepreneurs to turn ideas and complex problems into practical web, mobile, software, AI, and digital solutions.
My Story
From Writing Code to Building a Global Technology Company
I got into technology because I enjoyed figuring things out. When something was not working, I wanted to understand why. When there was a better way to do something, I wanted to build it. That curiosity led me into software development.
After graduating in Computer Science, I started out freelancing, writing code across websites, applications, APIs, mobile apps, databases, custom software, plugins, and products, and working directly on client projects.
Eventually, the work grew beyond what one person could do. What started with small development projects grew into Zluck Solutions. Today, Zluck is a 40+ person technology team working with startups, entrepreneurs, and growing businesses across different parts of the world.
The journey changed my role, but it did not change how I think. I still believe that good technology starts with understanding the actual problem. The technology itself is only the tool.
What are we trying to solve?
One of the biggest changes in my career was moving from thinking mainly about code to thinking about the bigger picture. As a developer, the question is often: How do we build this? As a founder, you also have to ask:
- Should we build this?
- Who is this for?
- What problem does it solve?
- Is this the right investment?
- How will we support it after launch?
- Can the business actually use it?
That shift has shaped how I work with clients and how I lead my team. Building software is not only about shipping features. It is about making decisions that still make sense six months, two years, or five years later.

I do not believe every business problem needs the newest technology. Sometimes the right answer is AI. Sometimes it is custom software. Sometimes it is a mobile app. Sometimes it is simply fixing an existing system.
The goal should not be to use more technology. The goal should be to use the right technology.
That applies to AI as much as anything else. At Zluck, we use it to help teams move faster, cut repetitive work, and add genuinely useful intelligent features to what we build.
Use AI where it genuinely improves the outcome — not because it is fashionable, and not because someone promised that everything can now be built in a weekend.

I Am Still a Developer at Heart
Becoming an agency owner did not erase my technical background. It changed how I use it.
I may not spend every day writing production code anymore, but understanding technology deeply helps me ask better questions. It helps me understand the risks behind a decision. It helps me communicate with developers. And it helps me understand when something sounds good in a sales presentation but may not work well in the real world.

Giving Back
Open Source, Community, and Speaking
I believe that technology communities grow when people share what they know.
Over the years, I have contributed to the WordPress ecosystem as a plugin developer, contributor, translation editor, community organizer, volunteer, and speaker. I have developed and contributed to open-source plugins used by thousands of websites.
I also help organize the WordPress community in Surat and have participated in WordCamps in India and internationally.
This work is important to me, not because I want to be known only as a WordPress professional, but because open source represents something bigger — people sharing knowledge, people building things together, people helping others grow. That idea applies to business as well.
On Stage
I also enjoy speaking about what I have learned from building software, working with clients, and leading technical teams — usually practical topics like AI-assisted development, agency growth, and building better digital experiences, rather than theory. I have spoken at WordCamp events in India and internationally, including WordCamp US 2025, WordCamp Asia, WordCamp Kolhapur, and WordCamp Surat. How I Like to Work
Over the years, I have learned that technical skills alone are not enough to build successful projects. The way people work together matters just as much. The principles I care about are simple.
- Understand Before Building
- Do not rush into writing code before understanding the actual problem.
- Communicate Clearly
- Technical language should not make clients feel confused. Good communication should make difficult things easier to understand.
- Be Honest
- Not every idea is good. Not every feature is necessary. And not every project needs the most expensive solution.
- Think Long Term
- The goal is not just to launch something. The goal is to build something that can be maintained, improved, and used successfully.
- Respect People
- Clients, team members, partners, and users all deserve to be treated with respect.
- Keep Learning
- Technology changes constantly. The only practical approach is to keep learning, testing, and adapting.
Beyond Work
Technology is a major part of my life, but it is not the only thing that interests me. I enjoy learning from business, technology, people, and real-world experiences.
One of the most rewarding parts of running a company has been watching team members grow in confidence, skills, and responsibility.
Building a successful company is not about becoming the smartest person in the room. It is about building an environment where other people can do great work too.
